Serving creditors throughout California
Recover what you are owed, professionally and lawfully.
Pacific Coast Debt Recovery pursues past-due accounts for businesses, property owners, and individual creditors. We work on contingency, we document every step, and we operate in full compliance with state and federal collection law.
Who we work with
Creditors who are done waiting
An unpaid balance stops being a collections problem and starts being a cash flow problem. We take the account off your desk and pursue it properly.
Businesses
Unpaid invoices, past-due commercial accounts, defaulted payment plans, and service balances that have aged past your internal collection efforts.
Property Owners & Landlords
Unpaid rent, balances left after a tenant vacates, lease-breach damages, and judgments that were entered but never satisfied.
Individual Creditors
Money owed under a personal loan, a written agreement, a settlement, or a small claims judgment you have not been able to collect on your own.
Our process
What happens after you place an account
You should never have to wonder where your file stands. Here is the sequence every account follows.
-
Free review
Send us the details. We tell you honestly whether the account is worth pursuing, what the likely obstacles are, and what our fee would be.
-
Placement and validation
We take assignment of the account and issue the written notice the law requires, informing the consumer of the debt and of their right to dispute it.
-
Locate and contact
We confirm current address, phone, and employment information, then open contact through lawful written and telephone channels.
-
Negotiation and resolution
Most accounts resolve here — in full, or through a structured payment plan or settlement that you approve before we accept it.
-
Escalation, if warranted
When an account justifies it and you authorize it, we can refer the matter to an independent attorney for legal action. That decision is always yours.
-
Remittance and reporting
Recovered funds are remitted on a set schedule with a clear accounting of what was collected, what was applied, and what our fee was.
Why creditors choose us
Firm, but never reckless
Aggressive collection tactics create liability for the creditor, not just the agency. Every contact we make is documented, compliant, and defensible.
- Contingency fees. If we do not recover, you owe us nothing.
- You stay in control. No settlement is accepted and no legal referral is made without your approval.
- Documented file. Every call, letter, and payment is logged and available to you.
- Local knowledge. California creditors, California rules, California courts.
- Straight answers. If an account is not collectible, we say so instead of billing you for effort.
Compliance is the product
We operate under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the California Debt Collection Licensing Act. We do not threaten, harass, or misrepresent — because doing so is unlawful and because it does not work.
A note on expectations
No agency can guarantee recovery on any account, and any agency that tells you otherwise is not being honest with you. What we can promise is a thorough, lawful, and transparent effort — and a clear answer when an account has run out of road.
