Privacy & legal notices

Our privacy policy, accessibility statement, and terms of use. Effective [DATE].

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Pacific Coast Debt Recovery, LLC collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Information we handle in the course of collecting an account is governed separately by our account privacy practices and by applicable law.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, company name, email address, telephone number, the debt type and amount range you select, and whatever you write in the message field.
  • Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server log data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and reliability purposes.
  • What we do not collect here. This website does not process payments and does not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or card numbers. Please do not send those through the contact form.

How we use it

We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate an account you want to place with us, and keep records of our business communications. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us operate — our website host and form processor, our email provider, and, where an account is placed with us, our payment processor and any vendor engaged on that file. We also disclose information where the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or regulatory examination.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses only the cookies necessary to serve the pages. We do not run advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, session-replay tools, or third-party chat widgets on this site.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting that signal, this website does not respond to it differently. This is stated here as required by California Business and Professions Code section 22575(b). We do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other websites when you visit this one.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to mcewencarson@gmail.com or to the mailing address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a consumer whose account has been placed with us, additional rights apply and are described on the Debtor Information page.

Security and retention

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and access to them is limited to staff who need it. We keep inquiry records for as long as our business and legal obligations require, then dispose of them securely. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted here for at least thirty days.

Accessibility statement

We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

If you encounter a barrier on this site — something you cannot read, reach, or operate — please tell us at mcewencarson@gmail.com or (805) 295-4065. Describe the page and the problem and we will fix it and get you the information another way in the meantime.

Terms of use

No legal advice

Pacific Coast Debt Recovery, LLC is a California debt collection agency. We are not a law firm. We do not employ attorneys to represent you, we do not provide legal advice, and nothing on this website is legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by visiting this site, submitting a form, or contacting us. Whether legal action is ever taken on an account is a decision made by the creditor and its own counsel.

No affiliation

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any court, government agency, or credit reporting agency.

No guarantee of results

Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee that any particular account will be recovered, in whole or in part. Collection outcomes depend on facts specific to each account and debtor.

Information only

The content here is general information about our services and about consumer rights. It is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the effective date, but laws change. It is not a substitute for the written notices we send on a specific account, and where the two differ, the written notice controls.

Payments

This website never accepts payments. If an account is resolved with us, invoices are issued through our payment processor and arrive directly from that processor. We will never ask anyone to pay by gift card, cryptocurrency, wire transfer, or prepaid debit card.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
